Overview

Session #1 Chitty Chef Jaya: 1 pm to 2.30 pm

Join us in the Chitty Melaka kitchen. You will be enriched on how Lauk Pindang - fish poached in tamarind and coconut milk is cooked. Taste its accompanying dish Sambal Belacan Udang Goreng - prawn with sambal belacan. Allow Chitty Jaya to share with you these essential dishes at all Chitty Melakan get-togethers. Be prepared to dine in when all work is done and chat to learn more about our heritage food.

Session #2 Chitty Chef Kala: 3.30 pm to 5 pm

Step into Chitty Kala's kitchen for an afternoon masala chai tea. In this Interactive session, allow Chitty Kala to show you how to use banana leaves to wrap gluten-free Lepat Ubi Kayu - steamed tapioca dessert, an all-time favourite dessert of our grandmothers when you visit them. You will also taste an accompanying savoury snack of Chitty Prawn Fritters. Dine and chat the afternoon with us on the heritage food of the Chitty Melakans.

Remarks:
