Overview
In this workshop, you will have the chance to learn the fundamentals of lion dance, including the lion head and tail movements. In addition to learning the lion dance movements, participants will get hands-on experience with the accompanying musical instruments. You'll have the opportunity to play the lively drums, cymbals, and gong that provide the rhythmic backdrop to the lion dance performance. Singapore Tian Eng Dragon & Lion Dance Centre is a well-known and international award winning troupe. Since founding our troupe in 1987, Tian Eng has won numerous awards for lion dance and dragon dance competitions.
