Overview

Travel back in time to the olden streets in Chinatown where our forefathers lived, and soak in the atmosphere and heritage of the hawking scenes of yesteryear. All without a time-travel machine! The inaugural Five-footway Festival will re-create old street scenes and bring back characters from the past – from samsui women, night soil collectors, to the mata-mata in shorts. You will get a chance to snap Instagram-worthy wefies with them while racing in clogs, or snacking on sweets and snacks well loved by our grandparents.
