Sharing session on 7th Month Festival observation in Singapore! Unravel tales of folk beliefs, family traditions, symbolism and rituals of the 7th Month Hungry Ghost Festival (中元节) culture.

The 15th lunar day, which is the day of hungry ghost falls on 22nd August this year. The tradition is followed by Buddhists and Taoists that used to be observed in a commemorative way. Over the years it has evolved into a celebration with Getai (歌台) of stage and virtual song performances that can be seen today.
