Ming Tai was established in 1946 by the first generation entrepreneur who migrated from Guangdong, China. It is strategically located in Chinatown and has served more than four generations of customers from all over Singapore. From a humble shophouse dealing with import and export at No. 1 Hokkien Street, Ming Tai has evolved into a Specialty Shop, helmed by the fourth generation, retailing in fine Chinese herbs and liquors complete with a comprehensive traditional Chinese medical pharmacy dispensing medical prescriptions.
